"I purchased an AquaRain Model 400 Water Filter as a Y2K investment seeing as the Lord caused me to move to a lakefront lot 4 years ago. "I’m writing to let you know how thrilled we are with our new Aqua Rain gravity fed water filter. We recently had a hand pump installed on one of our two wells and decided to have a water test just to make sure the water from that well was suitable for drinking. The person who built the house and owned the property originally told us they used this well the entire time they lived here and it was good for drinking. They sold the property and the new owner had another, larger, well installed and the original well was not used for several years until we bought the property and had the hand pump installed on it. This is the reason we decided to have a test on it to make sure it was still drinkable.

Imagine our surprise and dismay when the test came back negative, saying the water had coliform (bacteria) and was unsuitable for drinking. I mentioned this to a friend and she told me about the AquaRain water filter, which we subsequently purchased. I am enclosing the two tests we had done after receiving the Aqua Rain; one with water taken directly from the well without being run through the filter, which indicates a very high coliform count, and the other with water from the well run through the AquaRain water filter, which came back absolutely clear of any coliform bacteria.
